Back in the village - Part III
Jun. 8th, 2004 06:40 pmToday, while I was drying vague utensils from the most unnecessarily gigantic dishwasher in the world, I thought about how good my job is compared to any other I've had. Far from being in Tesco and standing around not really knowing what I should be doing, it's a friendly place where my task is to put plates in a dishwasher and wipe some tables - and I'm even kept going by having bacon rolls launched at me at regular intervals. Very nice they are too.
Apparently bacon is one of the biggest problems for vegetarians who haven't been vegetarian all their lives, as it's too much of a temptation. I can't remember who told me that, maybe I just made it up - but it seems feasible.
I have one of my exam results, the one for CH2102. It's slightly dodgy at only 8.7, but I only needed a 5 as it's not a subject that I'm doing at Honours. (Someone, please tell me that that's true and I'm not deluding myself.) And my two results over both semesters average out at above 11, so it would be all right anyway. (Ditto.)
I seem to have forgotten how to type - I'm beginning to make a lot of mistakes and having to go back to correct them. Maybe it's a curse that has been laid upon me for making fun of other people's typing throughout the year. I'll have to be very careful so that you can't make any jokes at my exponse.
