This evening, after prizing apart my two plates that had fused themselves together in the microwave, I successfully made myself instant chicken ramen - the Oriental equivalent of Super Noodles. I never did manage to get the packet of cooking oil open, but I decided it was unnecessary in the end. Still, I didn't kill anyone, no fire alarms went off, and I don't even feel mildly ill after consuming it. It tasted fine, though the chicken flavour was as convincing as the flavouring in roast chicken crisps.

For most of the day, though, I was at the Sinner stall at the Union, herding people towards the sign-up desk for [livejournal.com profile] gr33bo to convince to put their names down. I did feel slightly awkward harassing people with leaflets, but what else do people go to the Societies Fayre for? I went out to get a sandwich from Tesco and came back with about fifty leaflets - even though I had tried to avoid being given most of them by pretending to be German.

I've been having trouble sleeping for the last two days. Hopefully, that will have sorted itself out by tonight. And with lectures starting tomorrow, that's the end of another Freshers' Week. They always seem to go so quickly.
