Jan. 29th, 2009 04:08 pmThis is the first day that I've made it to the station but then just given up all hope of a train ever coming - the pavement is a one-inch-thick sheet of ice. As Whitney's out at work while I do my job at home, I'm secretly baking surprise oatmeal cookies for her to come back to. I'm normally good at that, but I realized too late that we didn't have any eggs, so I just threw in some mayonnaise that we had lying around instead. I fear that these cookies are going to absolutely redefine the word "surprise".
