Class 8 Part One

I think that this game might have driven me a little crazy.

And it's not difficult to see why. This is the first half of the final chapter, an episode primarily starring me and kjorteo, in which my reward for having acted a melancholy backstory for Shuu is to act an absolutely despondent backstory for Kazuaki. I've been reliving the whole thing as I edit it, and to hear my own voice as this victim of such tragedy, keeping a brave smiling face for Nageki while unknowingly sending him to his ultimate death... I have huge great arcs of water squirting out of my eyes sideways. kjorteo was amazing at... making me feel terrible for his character - thank you very much!

I also get to hear two of my own characters' voices for the first time ever, as they change so unexpectedly so close to the end of the game - and it's got to the point where it's strange to hear something quite so close to my natural accent, now. That worked out much better than Kazuaki's sudden ending-diverting scene, where I tried to add an aggressive tone to his weird David Mitchell voice and he came out sounding somewhat like a poor impression of Michael Caine.
