Help, the interface is pink. I would like to simply reiterate my Valentine's Day message from last year - stop sitting there and wasting your time like I did, and go and make someone feel good about themselves.

In that spirit, here's the little meme that pami_zee found a few days ago thanks to a frankly frighteningly extensive trip back through my own journal.

There are so many to list as you're my sister... but one of the things that stands out at the moment is your musical ability, both in instruments and singing. I write but have never been very good at actually performing. And your singing ability is in stark contrast to Jamie during karaoke night.

I'll take that as a comment, too - at the moment, because you sent me all those Megazeux files! Crusade deserves to be rethought and made. "Ground" is actually fantastic, even though the platform stages are incredibly frustrating - I never wrote any kind of RPG system in MZX.

And there were those interpretations of the Fighting Fantasy games we both started on. Perhaps we could do them in MMF now, by writing some sort of editor and interpreter. (That's what I'm doing for my latest project...)

Actually, the person that I do want to tell, I never get to see, I don't want to make a giant-sized mess out of what we do have, and they've just dropped a massive mindfuck bomb on me, as of last night.

Looking at the hexcode for it (which is the only way I can reliably see colour) does reveal it has a magenta tinge.

I clicked the link to see what you said about Valentine's Day last year, and misread the Chaucer quote as saying something about people going forth to make cheese on 14th February. And I'm supposed to have a degree in reading that kind of stuff...

As we don't know each other that well, I won't be offended if you don't comment back, but I'm not averse to hearing anything nice you might have to say about me.

I always comment back :) I think we only spoke once or twice, but I remember you were given a lift back up to Aberdeen with my dad after one St Andrews visit. (Remember how he insisted he drove, as I probably wouldn't have got there before the next morning?)

Tolerating living in Alford is probably admirable enough in itself, but from your journal I know you've been through a bit of a tough time, and you've been great for continually getting through it.
