Well, this is weird. The Internet, as far as I know, isn't supposed to be up until after Monday when we get our accounts sorted out, but it looks like I'm already on for some reason. Well, I'm not complaining. I'll have to set up MSN to appear on startup and all that.

I arrived and unpacked with my mum before she rushed off to Fisher and Donaldsons, then gave Chris a hand with his vast amounts of stuff. His monitor is bigger than all my computer stuff put together, I'm sure of it. After that we went down to the Union, meeting Richard, Ashley, Sarah and Comedy Dave. Now, let's get this over with.

We have a Dance Dance Revolution machine! <¦-D

It's £3 for one credit. D-¦>

So it could be a "one-a-night" thing. Strange that it's so expensive while the Panic Park machine is so cheap - 17 rounds for £2. Richard almost literally leapt out of his chair when he heard we'd got that back. And air hockey's improved, it's almost playable.

Last night, after a meal at Empire, I tried to meet as many people as possible. What happened eventually was that we went out on a pub crawl, but got separated from the group before we got anywhere. John (another second year) and I were left in charge of a whole group of Freshers, so we took them to the Victoria... unfortunately they were already ID-ing people so we split up, with me taking a group along to the Union to meet the regulars. Hope you didn't scare them off.

Retreating to the middle common room away from the noise, a couple of them recognised that I was the author of the article about Andrew Melville Hall - rather flattering, don't you think? Soon afterwards we all retreated to our rooms to unpack.

It's great being back, it's like a second home. Well, a third home if you count the one in Germany first.

Get back to doing the chat room quotes! I've been looking forward to those all summer.

I know someone who has one of the DDR mats that attaches to his playstation. Like, in his house. It is super cool.

Sucks that the union one is so expensive.... wonder how long till it breaks? Ha ha.
