Look at all this!

My parents have come to visit the Boston area for a couple of weeks. They brought this pile of essential supplies - frankly I'm surprised that they managed to fit it into their luggage, or convince customs to let it all through. They're amazing.
I promise, you have no concept of how much you're going to miss these until they're no longer available. And I plan to ration my way through the cereal for the next eight months.

Date: 2008-10-13 01:14 pm (UTC)And, as you can tell from my excitement at receiving them, I've found neither Crunchy Nut nor an acceptable substitute anywhere in this country, not even in the various import stores. It seems strange given the number of Americans who have been in Britain for a while that I've asked about the cereal, and have said they're having difficulty surviving now they no longer have access to them.
