When Harry Mason and James Sunderland found these things they somehow managed to instantly heal bites and scratches from creatures from the pits of the otherworld with them. (While I'm on the subject, Silent Hill's pulsing life force display is the most useless indicator of health to me ever - is it orange? Is it green? Am I about to die? Who knows.)

I haven't exactly seen that sudden an improvement, but even though it's an uncomfortable claim that drinking these means you're swallowing several million living organisms, I think they're slowly helping me get back to what passes for normal health for me. I've been slowly moving up from eating bread and yoghurt exclusively, and I haven't felt the need to take any more pills for quite a while now.

With sleeping having risen above everything else as my favourite activity over the last month, sometimes staying awake for a reasonable number of hours is more of an effort than normal, but it always seems that once I've actually extracted myself from bed, the world doesn't seem so bad. Cows in the morning, one-two-three - up and at 'em with a pick.

I had them things when I went through a stage of being regularly ill (or poisoned, depending). I always thought of it as a massive battle; you have your friendly gut gribleys being attacked by bad gribleys, and the probiotics come on in the role of the Prussian cavalry at Waterloo :)

You'll be pleased to know your health is yellow. And as well as being fairly well off for healing items, you've got at least fourteen handgun bullets. While I have no idea what you would do with those, I'm sure their presence affords a sense of security.

I'm also having fun trying to decide what your facial expression is indicating, or whether it's just a mimicry of Harry's.

On a less jocular note (though you invited it, with the health/inventory display) I'm glad you're getting better slowly.

I tried drinking Actimel in the morning but it made me worse to start with so stopped. Most people said that I never tried it for long enough. I think you should try to get the worms that Fry did in futurama. That would sort out your ills and get you playing the holophone at the same time.

I thought that kind of behaviour is what made him ill in the first place!

I drink Actimel, too. A legacy from having a mother who's very into nutrition, I think.
