Heavy Metal King and Excited Bulbasaur have withstood the test of time, and Murderbeaks is an instant hit (I swear, ever since I got that icon, I've been using it absolutely everywhere) so they're probably safe!

(Also I think the direct URLs like that remain valid even if I change them; it just gives you a new URL for new icons and is somewhat lax about actually deleting the old ones. Or at least it was last time I checked, which admittedly was ages ago.)

That, my friend, is Hevisaurus SauruXet (name change due to legal complications stemming from a disagreement with their record label,) a Finnish children's heavy metal band.

Because Finland is awesome enough that they have children's heavy metal bands.

It's rather difficult to express in words just how much you've managed to upstage me with this :) Did showing you Hevisaurus grant you some sort of metal power? I could just about believe that as an alternative-reality Rhapsody cover if they were from Japan...

I wouldn't say "metal power," but it did get the creative juices going, at which point I just grabbed some reference material (specifically the cover of the "From Chaos to Eternity" album) and let my artistic skills go nuts for a bit.

Would have been nice if I could find some action poses of the correct species of birds for Anghel and Shuu there, but since those kind of pics are in short supply for non-Pokemon animals, I had to settle for their humanized forms. Honestly, though, the image of Shuu with a slasher smile and a scalpel between his teeth just seems to work for him.

The filename was "Android Demon Prince." I forget just what I punched into Google's image search to find it, but I was looking for something that would work in place of that thing that Teo and Anghel fought, and that just fit the bill perfectly in my mind.

"Victory or Calorie" could totally be a Rhapsody of Feathers album, though. You know, considering that the actual band did Dawn of Victory (for which they temporarily forgot what band they were and proceeded to get an Iron Maiden album cover) and, much later, Triumph or Agony (which is much more like what you'd expect.)
