It... is, but in this case, at least the C# code is right there in front of me and available to be changed :) The innards of the application are exposed in the... "managed code", with just the assets wrapped up in the proprietary .CCH file... I think. It would be a large investment of time to take it apart and put it back together more efficiently, but I've done things like adjusting some sound stuff at a basic level in the iOS XCode projects.
