Fortunately not including this:
I'm now sitting at home alone while Whitney relaxes on a beach with some sort of absurdly-shaped cocktail glass in sunny California, and I'm eating a concoction of pasta with the Worst Cheese in the World (AKA Kraft Single Skim Milk American) and listening to the continuing sounds of the storm. The weather says that we're over the worst of the wind, but the rain is definitely still going - I'm less worried about damage to the house and car now, as only a couple of branches have come down and I've parked around the corner within range of only the wimpiest-looking tree I could find. It's still possible I might lose power because of lines in other areas going down, but I will just hope to wake up with the electricity still on tomorrow.
I will talk about the remainder of what happened this weekend as and when I am able to process it.
