I have to admit I keep forgetting how funny these little question-and-answer scenes are - Xaq as Ryouta makes an excellent slightly put-upon host who - just like in the main game - has to deal with the insanity surrounding him at every turn. This one has Shuu as the main guest, and there are a lot of great asides from everyone, even the non-appearing characters!

Congratulations, your Murderbeaks "hohohoho" recitations, and even your regular laugh at a side joke or something when you're still in character after a Murderbeaks line, is officially terrifyingly evil.

Yes, I noticed when I played it back to myself - the way that my laugh is just becoming the Murderbeaks laugh is beginning to concern me.

I might as well say it here, and not just because of your recent posts - I love the way that you add "flavour" to Ryouta's lines, from the "Psst" when trying to get the doctor to say something all the way up to your interpretation of "That's all, folks!" which made me laugh for hours.

Personally, I thought the "I'll congratulate you for the doctor! ... 'Happy birthday.'" bit was the best part. I mean, I know that's the actual line and everything, but switching to a Murderbeaks impression for it was absolutely brilliant. :D

It would've felt wrong not to there. Birthday-birdie Yuuya wanted a Happy Birthday from Murderbeaks, and a Happy Birthday from (pseudo-)Murderbeaks he got!

Personally, I just loved how the game flagged us, particularly you, again in that same scene with the Weirdbeaks' birthday/Christmas wishes. XD


Now I'm just curious to see how shows up in the Radio segments after The Day The Night Slept...and whether I'll be too badly traumatized to even do a radio show. XP

Hmm ... when you put it like that, now I feel bad with how I handled Sakuya's indignant response to his fan mail. I mean, yeah, obviously those are the lines as written and I was absolutely right to throw in the indignant tone; it's Sakuya. But maybe I could have tried a bit harder to work in my own subversion to be nice to the writer or something, I don't know. I mean, it's not like I've never done that before ("If that is your proposal, doctor, then I have no NUMEROUS objections.") and, you know, I in real life try to be nice! If any Team Hatoful fans are reading this and if we end up doing our own Q&A deal like has been proposed or something, you can totally touch my feathers. <3 (Down, Yuuya.)
