Well, it'd be harder to be aware of in most cases, since the ever-so-common TCP streams would detect the lack of ACKs and stop sending PDQ. Video/voice chat is one of the special cases where you're more likely to have a lot of truly unidirectional streams flying around. (But you knew that.)
