Ravenworks gave me a link to this game - obviously having felt that The Stanley Parable was just insufficient - and I felt my way around it briefly in what you could call a reluctant Halloween special. I must have barely scratched the surface, but it felt so oppressive and unpredictable that I'm rather glad I didn't dive further.

“DIVE-ID: Newton”

“But that's not Newtonian!”

What typeface is that that you used at the end before the stock closing sequence?

Not to go into spoilers, but you're actually kinda describing one of the endings in that game.

Would it be strange to say that I think I discovered the purpose of this game? It took me probably a good 30 minutes of wandering about but I did get somewhere before the RELICS system "crashed".

I discovered that once inside the 3D space, left-clicking when standing very close to these vertical lines and aiming at some of the strange floating polygons would then make them physical, which you could then walk on. The number in the left dropped whenever I built some of the area, and dropped to zero when I managed to complete the sector.

I had to walk around a bit to find Sector "A" I think, and each sector lead to another sector up to "D", building more and more of the stone walking surfaces. However, it entirely crashed (with a fake bluescreen in Unity) once I managed to... I guess "compile" all the areas.

It was hard to determine just where I was supposed to go with all that interference!
