A non-metal song featured in my LJ that doesn't have any relation to Germany at all? Shocking. I do like this one rather a lot, though, my favourite out of what I've heard of the vast collection of music that Whitney gave me so far.

The CH lab yesterday was spent sitting around writing up reports, as I have very little to do until people are ready to start on some sort of X-ray diffraction project. We're still an entire session ahead of time.

This morning I left the lectures in a rather good mood because I'd got through them without falling asleep this time, but unfortunately it wasn't long before I remembered that I lived in Andrew Melville Hall and would be going to lunch soon.

And after that, I went straight back to the JHB to write a three page report including "judiciously chosen examples" demonstrating the "computational intractability" of "Urquhart formulae", while resisting the temptation to point out that Roy Dyckhoff uses "silly words". Christoph and I eventually judiciously chose to submit a half-hearted attempt at it each and then leave.

Better get off to dinner.

Cool, ok, will add it to my list! I'd forgotten how good that song was - indeed, forgotten about it entirely - so I will have to go do that. Chancily, I brought it back with me too so i have it here. Is chancily a word? I think perhaps not.
