A sick entry

It's just as well that I got my tutorials and CS practical out of the way very early on this week, because finally I've caught the Melville Plague. I have the kind of headache that makes it feel as if every cubic inch of my skull is packed with cement, and my head has inflated to the size of a large pumpkin (or maybe that's just my ego after seeing this on Modplug again). In addition, my skin hurts. No, really - it's as if millions of little gremlins have crawled on to my skin and are continually jabbing pins in to me. Well, something like that - I'm not hallucinating, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

I should really go back to Melville and bed, but that would just mean being woken up by the fire alarm test again. I'll just sleep through the impending Chemistry lecture and then come home, have lunch and collapse after a quick search through my Cupboard of Drugs to see if there's anything that might help in that.

You know when you're ill and have a dream, and it's about doing some tedious and repetitive task? "Sickmares", someone I was talking to called them. Well, I had one of those last night. I was trying to climb a chimney by jumping off the walls and pushing myself upwards, only to fall back to the bottom again every time.

Oh, I've realised recently that the videos of Piet Sielck trying to be funny and failing (because he's German, perhaps) aren't up on the Noise Records site any more. However, as I've got them saved to my hard drive, they could make excellent blackmail material if he really does decide to call Iron Savior's new album "Metalizer".

my poor darling! i wish i could be there to take care of you. you remember what i said about a putting a compress on your head yesterday? that still applies, and sleep also applies. which also means not talking to whitney before she goes off to italy for a week. bugger all...i hate the sickness it is evil.
