No, in fact the "hall assembly" wasn't that bad at all. After all, people have been saying that just having posters isn't the best way to communicate, so I think seeing them in person is far better. And it wasn't the fifteen minutes of being shouted at that many people were fearing.

I'm now convinced that it isn't the management that's the problem, it's the vandals that are successful in making the management look like idiots. Kenny's empty aggressive attitude doesn't help matters, though.

I finally met David Newton. It's just something I've been wanting to do for a while, go up to him and ask "Are you David Newton? So am I". It's not really something that many people get to do. Mostly because not many people are called David Newton. Apparently he'd thought that someone had signed him up for a hall photo and nearly scored it out, so I may have to start using my X. I mean K.

I think the problem is that Kermit is fostering so much contempt amongst students that people probably wouldn't tell him if they saw their own parents murdered in Melville and quite frankly, that's hardly surprising.

Needless to say, if there was more hall spirit - then vandalism in itself wouldn't be such a problem.

David X Newton sounds like a poor sci-fi film - from the makers of Hyper Cube and Equilibrium.
