There, I've made more updates during the summer than Square has made Final Fantasy games (ever, not during the summer). That must be quite a lot, at least.
My opinion of children has changed rather a lot since this morning. We had a huge amount of them in for the Father's Day meals - all of them so little that they were only half of even my height. I should point out that if you're reading this and have never met me, it's nothing to speak of. They ran around the dining area for about half an hour, then one of them got belted with a bag they were throwing about, and that deterred them from being quite so energetic. Sorry, that seemed a bit indifferent, but when you've had to wait tables by wading through a sea of kids you'll understand.
My brother and sister have their birthday today (as in 21st June). I'm damned if I can remember how old they are.
Ah, 21st of June - that reminds me, Iron Savior's new album is out today. Because of the slight unlikelihood of the Inverurie Music Centre having it, I'll have to wait an extra couple of days for an Amazon order to come in. :(
Hours worked: 36, I think
c-a-string-h earned: £136.80
The same amount in Yen: ¥27,327.58
Makes it look a lot more, don't you think? Actually, does that Yen symbol go on the start or the end? Who knows, it took me ages to spot it in Charmap.

Date: 2004-06-21 02:15 pm (UTC)I do read most of the content on my friends page as it's ideal for passing the time - most of the people I keep on my list are very entertaining, and the ones who just post endless quizzes are taken off. (Sorry to people reading this if this sounds like Richard, and conversely, sorry to Richard if he's reading this.) I have not read the fiction posted on your journal (apart from a couple when I really needed to pass the time in St Andrews), but I am continually impressed by the amount of comments you get on them.
Why can I not make sense tonight?
