After having seen Iron Man and the Fantastic Four late at night after the barbecue, I was inspired to find my old tapes of them (Paul was right, it seems like I taped all the right programmes that I'd want to dig up again later). I used to really like "Iron Man" - the new one, which was on Fox if I remember correctly, is more anime-styled, and Tony's been given a huge mullet. Bah humbug.
Oh, some episodes of the "dark" Sonic series were on the tape as well - I was reminded about that programme during my exploits (Des plus brilliants exploits) on the Internet during the year. I couldn't watch that for long, though, as his voice had already sanded off two layers of the laminated coffee table. How anyone can have such a cringe-inducingly irritating voice as Jaleel White I'll never know - it sounds like a sheet of metal being fed through an electric cheese grater.
As it happens, I've got a job delivering BT phone books - I got the paperwork this morning. I have up to a week to deliver 606 of the things, starting on Thursday, which isn't bad for close to £60.
There were a few of us out at Clare's in the evening, just for a walk around - we ended up going further than I intended. Something seems to be wrong with someone or other, something that perhaps shouldn't have been said, but to be honest I really don't want to be involved any more.
I drove back after dropping Phil off, and couldn't stop thinking about Silent Hill 3 - I was terrified. A game shouldn't do that to you.
