Why is going to the dentist such a terrifying experience? Walking towards the building listening to the loud mechanical noises emanating from the surgery, the anticipation in the waiting room while reading an issue of Time magazine from about five years ago, then lying back while a stern-looking woman leans over you prodding about in your mouth and saying meaningless stuff to her assistant like "M6 long, upper left." I might as well have been listening to the shipping forecast.
Anyway, I've got to go back there during Reading Week to repair a "couple of small holes" - Tuesday the 11th of November, to be precise. So that'll be fun. I bet they were caused by eating vast amounts of Skittles at the cinema. Sod it.
