Probably as intended. I mean, even for someone with a knack for cooking mishaps, it's pretty hard to mess up what appears to be rice-with-stuff-on-it unless you do something horrible to the stuff part.
Look Mr. Grossman, this was all perfectly all right - the rice that we have around just now does have a tendency to come out slightly... damper than normal (and I do mean slightly), but I think that considering the source, this is a more than competent meal!
Somehow I'm disappointed. :P It feels like... watching an episode of Top Gear where everyone's sensible and polite about all the cars and no-one blows anything up. :P
On the other hand, I'm glad you could have a meal where you don't have to risk your life. You give a little, you get a little, I guess. :P
